Data Classroom
We have been operating the computer and video display systems installed by TAV for nearly a whole term and have had very positive feedback as to its usefulness and ease of operation in the classroom. Students have been able to see the teacher's work as a whole and in an electronic format which has had the effect of getting the classroom in step with the highly technogical environment we have here.
We have even connected a microscope camera to the projector in our Science room and have been able to display to the group as a whole the aspects of cell structure. Soon we are going to bring our Marine Biology group via a video conferencing link from Orpheus Island in Far North Queensland into one of these multimedia rooms so they can be included in the classroom. They can share their experiences with their peers via the big screen.
